Butterflies in my tummy … why? I mean come on, I’m going on VACATION! I know I had a mini vacation not that long ago, so yes, I’m spoiled but that was just Friday night – Sunday afternoon! This vacation is a full out 5 day vacation! The Love Affair Workshop is going to be amazing! Holla! I can’t wait! But yes, I’m nervous!
The past few days I’ve been running around like a crazy woman trying to get everything done before I leave for a week. At Lamar, home, and the photography side of things. I hate leaving. I am a home body kind of a girl. I admit.
So over the next 2 days, I will try my darnedest to get caught up! I still have 2 killer weddings to blog, along with a family session, sisters, and a newborn session I’m about to go shoot right now! I actually ran into some props at a store earlier this week that I will be using for this shoot that I’m super excited about! I have to give credit to Stephanie Fay because that is who I got my inspiration from! She is totally into vintage stuff but she doesn’t edit her pictures to look as so, its an awesome flare to her images that I love. And inspires me to try some new props. I am afraid of them. Well … just a little.
So you know those little girls that melt your heart?? Elizabeth is one of them. Sara and I go way back to 5thgrade. I actually did a session of Elizabeth last year when she was 2 and now I had the honor of doing it again, a year later. This time both parents joined in and graced us with their presence so we could get some family shots! It was so much fun and yep, their family is growing! Baby boy Arens will be here soon and Elizabeth can’t wait to meet him! She is so cute when she talks about him. When I asked her to kiss the belly she looked up with her big brown gorgeous eyes and asked Sara, “Does the baby like it when I give him kisses?” That right there is another reason why I love this job! Not only getting to know great people but also seeing the love between families and how smart and amazing these little children are! We did have to bribe her with some bug juice but I think it paid off.
