Now back to this beautiful couple. After the gorgeous ceremony on the top of the mountain with a sailboat passing by below, we had some more fun with the bridal party celebrating and these two had perma-smiles. I think we all did. Glen Arbor, Michigan has beautiful farms and fields everywhere which is my dream come true. Have I said yet that I love northern Michigan??
The reception was full of some amazing dancing and Stephanie did a wonderful job with all the decor. Every little detail was thought of, even the sign in the bathroom that had a basket full of anything you could possibly think you needed while drinking and partying. I absolutely loved the white birch name cards, not sure if I should admit this but I might have stole one Steph. I wasn’t sure if we were suppose to take them when we left and lets be honest … it looks killer on my desk holding my business card. Tara and I even did something similar for our little sister’s baby shower so of course the moment we walked into this reception, we about died. Log cabin feel, stone fireplace, branches, buckets, burlap, baby’s breath, and white birch branches … heaven.
Thank you so much Stephanie + Ryan for asking me to be apart of such a perfect day. So happy and excited to continue this new found friendship.
… and this is what happens when you surprise your mother with a slice of birthday cake and everyone singing to her.
