As you can see, until Stephanie was in her white beautiful dress … those little flower girls stole the show. We all know how obsessed I am with northern Michigan and I love their weddings even more. Stephanie + Ryan were married in Glen Arbor, Michigan on the top of skiing ‘mountain’ at the Homestead. One of thee most beautiful ceremony cites I have ever seen and it was so perfect that a sail boat was sailing by just below while these two tied the knot.
The morning was spent in a perfect little salon full of Stephanie’s closest girlfriends. This place is its own little town and it was such a beautiful relaxing time for Stephanie, I loved being a part of it. So seriously, look at these little girls. The whole morning was so fun watching these little girls smiling ear to ear in their dresses and we totally caught them checking themselves out in the mirror together. It was the best. And then I just love how they usually aren’t as happy when the ceremony comes lol, you can’t win them all.
Ryan and the guys were just as much fun and I about got teary eyed myself watching Ryan read a letter from his bride before they had seen eachother. Along with the guests, Tara and I took a chair lift ride up to the cite and watched these two get hitched. Ryan is originally from the upper peninsula and could definitely hear their ‘u-per’ accents. I thought it was so sweet that Ryan’s uncle married them, I love when the wedding ceremony is so personal with family members such a huge part of this commitment to one another.
Can’t wait to share part two tomorrow so make sure to check back! I’m pretty sure its my thing to blog two parts to a blogpost of northern Michigan weddings. Enjoy part one …
