i’m a planner. i loooooove being organized and having everything written down in my planner. it goes everywhere with me, and chances are … if you aren’t sure what happened that day you can look back at my planner and figure it out. yup, i write EVERYTHING down. sure i’m spontaneous and love to have fun even if its not planned but then i go back and write it down. what happened, where i was, with who … it has come in handy a few times. every december i get a little excited to go out to target and purchase my new fresh clean planner. its so exciting. although, i usually buy the exact same one its still exciting. starting with a clean slate. perfection. ahhhh.
bringing in the new year is one of my favorite holidays. and i think its so underrated. i just love looking back at all the memories but more so looking forward at the future and all the possibilities. as we all know i love goals and am a huge goal setter and although they say that 9% of people actually accomplish their new year resolution and the ones that fail do s0 by january 20 … the new year still comes in with this feeling of hope and excitement. i actually don’t change any of my goals for the year or look at them as just new year resolutions but more so just have a very positive outlook on life and the future. its so uplifting. not to mention it also reminds me of how fast time goes by. i’m still wondering where 2010 went. i swear it goes by faster and faster every year.
i think its important to keep some goals to myself so thats what i will do. but of course wanted to share a few with you guys for january. and just a FEW goals for the year that i guess you could call new years resolutions that i plan to keep. i made sure to not list anything that i wasn’t serious about and not to mention, i’ve always been a goal setter 😉

i hope you all are full of excitement for the new year like i am. god is good. looking back it was a very exciting year for me and i learned so much and can’t wait to continue learning and growing. i already have a few trips planned to travel out of the state and attend workshops, a mentoring session [this month!], and possibly a long weekend in florida with my grandparents. i haven’t traveled much without my family but this year is looking like i’m going to be doing that more and i couldn’t be more excited. i’m so blessed to have an amazing friend named katie who is a flight attendant and can hook me up with some flights and in the end give me some great experiences and memories with her.
