[please read this entire post in a ‘george bush’ southern accent in your head] … Howdy Y’all. Yes, I can totally talk southern on this post because I want y’all to meet my southern friends Melissa + Levi. I actually went to high school with Melissa so her super cute accent was adapted over the past few years of her living down south while going to school to be a dermatologist/physician assistant. Yeah, this girl is super smart and I was bummed I didn’t get to meet Levi until the wedding day but so thankful Melissa and I got to get to know eachother a bit better through the planning process of emails and phone calls from far away. We met a few days before her wedding and that just got me even more excited.
It was such a fun and emotional day. I love when my couples wear their heart on their sleeve. I had only met Levi for a total of 10 minutes, not even … and it was time for him to see his beautiful bride and he didn’t hold back at all. I felt like we knew eachother for years. Such SUCH a beautiful loving couple and so thankful Tifani and I got to be there and be apart of their joyful day. We were all over this day, but we managed to still have fun and capture some portraits across from Melissa’s parents house at a friend’s old retired farm. Lots of little details on this day that made it special for this couple. The farm, her grandpa’s suitcase, and all their southern friends traveling all the way up to Michigan to be apart of their day. And boy did I love that. I just LOVE accents. And I’m totally one of thooooose ‘people’ that picks up on accents after talking to someone for five minutes. I seriously can’t help it.
I hope to catch a cup of coffee with this couple when they come visit the mitten soon! Enjoy!
loved this little letter that came with her garter which was made from her grandmother’s wedding dress and is being passed down through the family
