where the photography career started. [do i say that alot?] well … this is for real. you see, i had the best job ever when i was sixteen. i was a nanny for three adorable little girls. naughty, but cute 😉 samantha, mackenzie, and delaney. huge sports family … hence the reason why the girls are always the best on the team … at every sport. they’ve been on the cover of women’s sport magazine for their hockey talent and have won the michigan state championship for softball three times [with my sister brittany]. i guess i owe it to brittany for introducing us when she was five. and then they basically became family. so while i was working … apart from playing softball, hockey, running, and having fun [which by the way … was when i was in the best shape of my life … i should so babysit them now!] lynn … their mother had a slr camera in her laundry room and i totally played with it. [i asked permission]. we did some fun mini photoshoots and just played around. next thing you know … people are asking me for more pictures and i purchased a camera. wow. crazy story 😉 i’ve taken their pictures close to a million times but here are a couple photoshoots from the past. samantha senior session HERE. and i never blogged them but a few of the three of them HERE.
mackenzie and i always connected on a deeper level. see … we both have middle child syndrome. full force. so our trip to take her senior pictures was full of giggles and good times. i think we laughed the whole time … hence the laughing pictures. i’m pretty sure she was laughing with me … or maaaaaybe at me. i’ll just guess with me. sorry bruce [aka dad of mackenzie] i can’t help it that she’s gorgeous and just BROUGHT IT at our shoot. you have 3 beautiful girls … so i think you know that you’re screwed.
