First, lets start out with this adorable dog because my blog clearly loves dogs. Meet turbo. He is freakin’ adorable.
Bumps everywhere!!! I found out my good friend Erika was pregnant shortly after I found out I was. She is about 6 weeks ahead of me and I can not wait to meet her little man coming in December! I keep texting her reminding her how close she is to having this babe because I’m so excited and nervous for her and secretly happy she is going before me so that she can give me some pointers 😉 Although, when she is getting out of the rough first 6 weeks … I’ll just be starting haha. I feel like she is soooo much ahead of me with her pregnancy because she is having her baby ‘this year’ and mine is coming ‘next year’ so therefore that makes me feel like it is forever away. But I know that once the new year comes it really isn’t THAT far away! EEKKKK. Erika and I have had so much fun being pregnant together and I’m so thankful to have a friend to go through this experience side by side with. We are constantly texting eachother asking, is this normal?! lol … Oh dear.
I was so excited when she asked me to snap some maternity photos for her with her husband Eric [and a few with turbo of course] and we had so much fun workin’ the bump. I always have done a lot of maternity sessions, even before I was pregnant and it is so fun to show the girls how to pose and actually have my own bump to hold on to. Its almost weird.
These two love bugs are country folk so I knew we had to start off in a green green field. And follow that up with some beautiful autumn colors. We laughed the whole time and then of course used the excuse to go out to dinner that night along with some other friends. Erika is also a fellow ‘chicken mom’, we just have so much in common!
I just love documenting such an exciting time in people’s lives! I feel so blessed to be doing what I love. Thankful everyday. And really thankful Erika and I have become good friends through my cousin/friend Jenny. It is soooo amazing to have a good group of friends you can count on and not to mention finding other ‘couples’ where you and your husbands get along so well is a HUGE blessing and I don’t take it for granted one minute. Can not WAIIITTTT to visit this lady in the hospital and hold her baby boy! And our babies can be best friends 😉
