i took the month of december off of sessions to catch up on my weddings, albums, and life’s to do’s that were neglected over the busy summer and fall months, but when tifani emailed me … a fellow photographer … i didn’t even hesitate to meet her and her fiance nick. this coming may these two will be hitched and although i am not their wedding photographer i was so excited to meet them and get to know the duo. tifani and i chatted most of the time about her story and journey with photography and she kept on mentioning how working at her father’s car dealership kind of led her to her love and passion for photography. we then got to chatting about how nick works at a car dealership as well. it didn’t take me long to put the two together and guess that these two met at a dealership. how fun.
they had planned to cut down their christmas tree as an engaged couple and brittany and i tagged along to document it. we ended up at vormittag tree farm and in between our chats, and them kissing and laughing along the way found their perfect tree. after loading it up on their awesome vintage land cruiser … the sparks were littlerally flying. seriously, they got zapped and it didn’t take us long to figure out that it was due to us being under the power line. of course we all laughed so hard and then i had to apologize for laughing because they said it hurt like hell, but seriously … we can really say sparks were in the air.
had so much fun with you two and hope you enjoy your documented engagement style photos. i had so much fun getting to know the two of you and super excited for tifani and i’s new found friendship. can’t wait to see more of this beautiful bride and fellow photographer [i just love making new friends]. check out her work, she definitely has huge amount of talent! [and is GORGEOUS, as we all can see]
happy monday! and what a productive monday it was! p.s. thanks katie for being such an amazing friend and navigator today. LOVE YOU!
