i have to give all the credit to jessica on this ‘styled shoot’. she came with props galore and really had a vision for their engagement session and wanted to show off their style as a couple. oh so vintage and beautiful. we met at a super dreamy field with a willow tree and really enjoyed getting to know one another a bit better. jessica and i graduated together but due to our class being over six hundred, never really knew eachother that well. more so just ‘hi’ friends. not to mention jessica is super sweet and shy. but so sweet.
we met only a week before their wedding. jessica and jason might have the record for thee most rescheduled sessions. the weather just wasn’t cooperating with us so we cut it close but so glad it all worked out. i actually shot this in august but due to the wedding being so close, haven’t had the chance to share them yet. how cute of a couple are they?! i can’t wait to share their wedding photos coming soon. amazing wedding too, if you wouldn’t have guessed 😉
the two were aquantances their whole life and it was only a matter of time before they dated and got engaged and then married. their dads were best friends and were even in eachothers weddings! how crazy. they grew up neighbors and finally realized what was meant to be … and i couldn’t be happier for them.
p.s. jessica is also an amazing photographer and i will say i thought it would be super nerve-racking to shoot a fellow photographer but i think it made it more fun! and maybe had something to do with her amazing inspirations and ideas.
so excited to be getting caught up. expect a blogpost everyday this week. for real. i’m stoked. happy tuesday.
